Good morning, I wanted to take a moment to thank you for a delightful stay at Casa Chafariz. The apartment was perfect and allowed us to see Lisbon, yet still feel like we were at home. We appreciate your hospitality and hope to visit again soon.

Wonderful location, buzzy in the day, quiet at night. Easy to get everywhere. Comfortable apartment which is very well designed, and had everything we needed. The cafe downstairs closes at 6pm so it is peaceful at night and the food and drinks from Ludo’s are delicous - really convenient to have such a good place to eat breakfast or lunch. The electronic key works really well and we were well looked after by the team who helped with everything we asked. Getting a driver there and back makes sense as the castle area is not somewhere you can park and you don’t need your own car. We walked or got the bus/tram/train anywhere we needed. We hope to return for longer next time - there is so much to do in lovely Lisbon!

Stylish and well-designed apartment in a great location. The experience was fantastic, the apartment is really comfortable and tastefully design with contemporary furniture and nice touches like the exposed wooden structure, the stone kitchen counter and backsplash and beautiful ceilings combining tradition and design. It also has a lot of storage. The apartment provides also an option for breakfast and a very useful guide of the neighbourhood and general info.

Our 2nd time staying here, first in 9/2022 and again 2/2025. An easy choice for us. Reliably nice, comfy accommodation, quiet location, a pleasant 10-15 min to the main tourist areas (although we are not afraid of hills). Bernardo was most responsive and helpful. Staff very friendly.

Our stay was a memorable one and we would love to come back again.The rooms were clean and bright. The decor was perfect. Excellent soundproofing from outside noise. Location was very good. Outsantding. We were so impressed by Hermitage Castelo. It is extremely spacious and was absolutely spotless. We are a family of 5, with 3 teenagers and there was plenty of room. It's a beautiful apartment. We met Sónia on arrival and she was so helpful. The location is excellent, we walked everywhere. Would highly recommend this property.

Everything you’d need on your relaxing city stay. Good location, exiting apartment with full kitchen, air condition and working connectivity for working. Very nice restaurants around, especially very tasty food in Green steet at Roots restaurant. Smooth operations and easy accesss with digital apartment keys.

We had a lovely time in Lisboa and enjoyed our stay at Hermitage, it was more than we expected. We will be back and will tell our family and friends about Hermitage❤️

Hello, we stayed at Hermitage Castelo in Casa Saint Jorge for a wonderful 4 nights in April 2023. One of the highlights was the firmness of the mattress that gave us all superb rest. We are planning to purchase a new mattress for ourselves and would like to get a similar mattress! Can you provide any details of the manufacturer, firmness, foam/coil/combination of the mattress in your Casa Saint Jorge accommodation? Thank you very much!

Stay from 26/12 to 29/12. Very friendly welcome. Flat fitted out with care, very pretty. Very well equipped. Very good bedding. Very good quality service. Would recommend.

A lovely house full of light and with modern furnishings. Perfect cleanliness and maintenance. Excellent breakfast. Excellent location, close to the centre and the seafront. Taxi station under the house and services of all kinds at hand. We will return to continue exploring wonderful Lisbon. Thanks to the friendly staff.

It was a great 1-week stay, we were more than thrilled 😃 we found the entrance with the digital key top 😀 the location was very central at Castello S.Jorge .... and you were in 5-10 min down in the centre. The apartment was beautiful and very cosy, the bed was wonderful and we slept really well... We had everything we needed and the breakfast was also very good and above all healthy. The staff were very friendly and helpful 😃 we will certainly recommend it to others and above all we are already looking forward to our next stay there. Thank you 👍

This was our first visit to Lisbon and we were delighted to have found such a nice place to stay for our six nights in this delightful city. The apartment was lovely, properly equipped and just what we hoped it might be. Teresa and her staff keep a very well run establishment and made us very welcome. We enjoyed our breakfasts in a box and also the delightful cafe next door. We hope to return sometime soon. We enjoyed the location up by the Castelo and made full use of taxis to access other parts of the city.

Wonderful stay! Very quiet and cute apartment that has everything you'll need.
This is probably one of the best properties we've ever stayed in. Absolutely charming! The apartment is small, but has absolutely everything you need. Very clean, wonderful bathrooms and adorable courtyard. The breakfast they give you every morning is huge, and amazing. This place is literally 90 steps from the entrance to the castle.

Studio apartment was clean, spacious, and comfortable with every amenity we needed, especially in the kitchen and bathroom. The area is great - quiet for sleep but walking distance to everything and to lots of public transportation. Digital key worked flawlessly and made check-in very easy.

Location d’un bon rapport qualité/prix. Calme et bien décoré, l’appartement est en proximité des lieux touristiques de Lisbonne (Bairro Alto, Alfama...) grâce notamment au Tramway 28. Personnel sympathique et très réactif. A recommander.

This is a wonderful place to stay in the historic Alfama district. The apartment is airy with incredible views of the River Tagus and everything is spotless and comfortable. The building management team are welcoming and helpful with local tips. It felt special to be staying so close to the castle in the old citadel. There's an added bonus of seeing peacocks who sometimes hop over the castle walls into the streets. Fantastic all round!!

Beautiful appartment (very tastefully decorated and with all of the amenities you can hope for) in a gorgeous historic building very recently renovated, located in a fantastic neighborhood with great breakfast places and lovely restaurants litterally next door. Great value for money. The only downside is that the buildings on each side of Casa Chafariz are currently undergoing very major reconstruction works, which causes a great amount of noise, including early in the morning. The double-glaze windows are efficient but there is not much they can do considering the cirumstances. Otherwise, it would give it a 10/10.

Booking was incredibly easy and we loved Casa Chafariz. Beautiful apartment, very tastefully finished and perfect for a couple staying in Lisbon. Not 100% soundproofed but we didn't find that an issue really. The local team were very helpful and supportive with a couple of minor requests, and arranging the transfer to/from the airport was extremely easy and couldn't have been more convenient. Overall, a great location, a very comfortable apartment and with easy access to to some wonderful bars and restaurants, and the rest of Lisbon.

Fantastic location in old town area and next to an outdoor bar!! Windows kept all street noise out and air conditioning was a blessing as it was getting quite warm at night time. Breakfast in a Box was delivered daily to our apartment which was a delight.

Wonderful, clean and spacious apartment within easy walking distance of the main tourist area. Digital key was easy to use and a taxi rank over the road meant easy access to airport lift for flight home. Would highly recommend.
